Medina golfers down Barker
Improving to 3-1, Medina defeated Barker 231-245 at the Niagara Orleans course this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match.
Ian Wagner took medalist honors for Medina with a 43.
Gage Masters added a 44, Michael Cardone a 45 and Hunter Sturtevant a 48 for the Mustangs.
Brad Wilson had a 45 for Barker which is now 2-1-1.
In other N-O action, Akron (2-1-1) defeated Albion (0-4) 234-285, Wilson (4-0) downed CSAT (1-3) 231-285 and Newfane (2-2) topped Roy-Hart (1-3) 256-265.
Gabe Curcione shot 43 and Brandon Seider 45 to lead Wilson while CSAT’s Joe Yakovak took medalist honors with a 42.
Akron’s Steven Borowczyk took medalist honors with a 43 and Dyer Benjovsky was low for Albion with a 48.
Aiden Herlan took medalist honors for Newfane with a 41.
