Medina golfers down Akron
Continuing to get balanced scoring Medina defeated Akron 216-238 at DanDee Farms this afternoon to improve to 6-1 at the halfway point of the Niagara-Orleans Leaguer golf season.
Gage Masters and Ian Wagner shared medalist honors for Medina with rounds of 41.
Melanie Green added a 42, Mike Cardone 44 and Hunter Sturtevant 48 for the Mustangs.
The loss drops Akron to 3-2-1.
In other N-O action, undefeated (7-0) Wilson downed Roy-Hart (2-5) 237-264 and Barker (4-2-1) bested Albion (0-7) 232-274.
Connor Seeley took medalist honors for Wilson with a 40 as did Brad Wilson for Barker with a 43.
