Medina golfers clinch tie for N-O title
Cinching at least a tie for a third straight title, Medina defeated Barker 204-244 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match.
Ian Wagner took medalist honors with a 34 for Medina which stays undefeated at 9-0.
The Mustangs lineup also had Dylan Lonnen with a 40, Aidan Paul 41, Melanie Green 42 and Trevor Luthart 47.
Jake Harris shot 37 for Barker which is now 4-7.
Albion 228, Akron 247
Patrick Ricker and Drew Caldwell shared medalist honors with rounds of 41 to lead Albion past Akron 228-247.
Nick Perry and Carson Bader both shot 43 for the Purple Eagles as did Drew Romesser for Akron.
Albion is now 7-3 and Akron 6-5.
