Medina golfers go to 8-0; Wilson tops Albion
Defending champion Medina defeated Newfane 211-277 at Shelridge this afternoon to stay perfect at 8-0 in Niagara-Orleans League golf competition.
Melanie Green took medalist honors with a 35 for Medina as Aidan Paul shot 37, Dylan Lonnen 42 and Ian Wagner 45.
Sam Capen shot 49 for Newfane (0-8).
In the other N-O match, Wilson (6-3) downed Albion (6-2) 235-243.
Albion’s Patrick Ricker took medalist honors with a 42.
Patrick Seeley and Nathan Meyers both shot for 46 for Wilson as did Nick Perry for Albion.
The Lakemen also had Sam Georgal card a 47, Lilly Sanborn and Josh Seider 48.
