Medina girls score win over Alden
Medina bested host Alden 49-40 in a non league girls basketball game this evening.
Alexa Demmer scored 11 to lead a balanced attack for Medina as Honesty Hill tallied 8, Ariel Smith, Sam Heschke and Tatianna Maxon 7 each, Cassidy Janas 5 and Roswyn Oakes 4.
Trailing 13-11 after the first period, Median rallied into leads of 28-18 at the half and 34-26 after three quarters.
Demmer, Hill, Oakes, Maxon and Janas then all had baskets in the final period to help the Mustangs lock up the win.
