Medina girls romp past Global Concepts
Racing out to a 17-1 first quarter lead, Medina went on to defeat host Global Concepts 59-13 this evening in a non league girls basketball game.
Ten different players contributed to the point production for Medina which went on to hold leads of 40-9 at the half and 51-13 at the three-quarter mark.
Je’ne Brown scored 15, Molley Gross 13 and Kayla Cuadra 10 to lead the offense for Medina as Maddie Winters and Madison Williams both chipped in with 6, Emily Kams, Allison Bensley, Holly Heil and Martha Gardner 2 and Davina Birch 1.
Gross also grabbed off 12 rebounds, Brown 10 and Winters 9 while Kams dished out 10 assists.
Medina is now 2-1 on the young season.
