Medina girls roll past Tapestry

Making it two wins in as many days, Medina rolled to a 49-20 victory over host Tapestry this afternoon in a non league girls basketball game.

Camri King and Maddie Williams both scored 12 points to lead the Medina attack as Tyesha Robinson added 8, Anya Bloom 6, Gracie Hughes 5 and Sarah Cochrane 4.

Medina jumped out to a 16-6 first period lead as King and Williams both tallied 6 points in the early going.

The Mustangs increased their advantage to 31-10 at the half and 44-12 at the three-quarter mark.

Improving to 8-6 overall, Median next hosts rival Albion in a Niagara-Orleans League game at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
