Five veterans anchor the lineup for Medina as the Mustangs prep for the December 4 non league season opener against Holley at the Kendall Tournament.
The Mustangs returning quintet includes seniors Tatiana Maxon and Roswyn Oakes along with juniors Alexa Demmer, Sam Heschke and Cassidy Janas.
The Mustangs main graduation loss was Honesty Hill as another returnee, Ariel Smith, has transferred.
“We have a lot of work ahead of us but I’m glad we have those five back,” said Coach Connie Heschke. “I’m excited to see what they have.”
The Mustangs, which went 3-9 in Niagara-Orleans action and 5-16 overall last year, will open the league season at home on Dec. 12 against Barker.
