Medina girls even score with Wilson

Avenging a 15-6 loss Tuesday evening, Medina bested host Wilson 10-3 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans Leage softball game.

Emily Kams had 4 hits, including a double and triple, Alisha Scroger 3, including a double, and Ryenn Oliver a two-run home run to lead the Medina offense.

Jenn Darlak had a triple and Emily Kelly a double for Wilson.

Medina finishes the N-O season at 8-6 while Wilson slips to 4-9.

Medina defeated Wilson 7-2 in the JV game as Brooklyn Brown had 3 hits and Camri King 2.

Roy-Hart 8, Newfane 2
Eighth grader Samantha Choate had a big day both in the circle and at the plate to lead Roy-Hart to an 8-2 win over Newfane.

In the circle, Choate allowed only 4 hits and struck out 4. At the plate, she had an RBI triple in the third inning and a two-run double in the seventh.

Kayla Brown added 3 hits with 2 RBIs for the Lady Rams.

Roy-Hart finishes the N-O season at 11-3 and Newfane at 9-5.

Barker 9, CSAT 5
Erika Moeller hurled a 4 hitter with 14 strikeouts to lead Barker past CSAT 9-5.

Moeller also had a big day at the plate with an RBI double in the third inning and a two-run triple in the sixth.

Courtney Bodine and Mary Rounds both had 3 hits for the Lady Raiders as Sabrina Harris had 2, including a double, and Kylie Miller a triple.

Barker is now 4-9 and CSAT finishes the league season at 0-14.
