Medina girls down Albion; Holley tops W-C

A big nine run second inning ignited Medina to a 30-15 win over host Albion this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League softball game.

Camri King hit for the cycle with a single, double, triple and home run, to lead the Medina attack which also included 4 hits by Ryenn Oliver, 3 by Brandi Guild and 2 each by Ashlee Howell, Cora Payne, Lacey Kenward and Abby Neuman.

Brylie Hapeman and Lexi Wolck both had 2 hits and Natalie DiCureia a triple for Albion.

Medina is now 3-1 and Albion 1-3 in N-O action.

Holley 10, W-C 6
Madison Papaj had 4 hits, including a double and triple, for Holley in the 10-6 Genesee Region League win over Wheatland-Chili.

Winning pitcher Kassandra Norman and Halee Passarell both had 3 hits and Madison Day 2. Norman and Day both had doubles.
