Medina FC soccer club plays to tie
Dropping out of first place Medina Mustang FC played to a 2-2 tie with Bangarang in a Sahlen’s Cup 2nd/3rd Division soccer game Sunday at Sahlen’s Sportspark.
Medina is now 3-1-1 on the season and tied for second place with the Sahara Gunners a game behind the front-running 4-1 Westside Blitz.
Trent Jones and Steven Anderson each scored a goal for Medina. Anderson and Greg Husung had the assists.
Medina FC next faces Rust Belt United on Thursday at Sahlen’s Sportspark.
