Medina elementary students raised $200-plus for hurricane victims

MEDINA – The Student Council at Oak Orchard Elementary in Medina conducted a coin collection for two weeks in November for the American Red Cross Hurricane relief efforts.
Students were encouraged to bring in spare change and add to the containers. Posters were made by students and displayed around the building. More than $200 was collected. Principal Julie Webber is pictured with members of the Student Council.
