Medina duo will be inducted into Softball Hall of Fame on Saturday
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Teammates for over a decade and national level players for over 20 years, Chris Goyette, left, and Brian Fry of Medina will be inducted into the New York State USSSA Softball Hall of Fame in ceremonies this Saturday at the Burgundy Bason Inn at Pittsford. Both power hitters, among the major teams they played together for was the Connecticut based Manhattan Beer team which captured the 2012 Class C USSSA World Series championship. Now they are working together again on the diamond as volunteer coaches with the Medina High baseball squad where their namesake sons, Chris Goyette and Brian Fry, are both returning starters.
