Medina duo helps Pfeiffer extend win streak
Medina High graduates Kyle Barna and Blade Garlow scored a total of 6 goals to help spark Pfeiffer University to its fourth straight lacrosse victory, 8-6 over Greensboro on Saturday.
Breaking away from a 5-5 deadlock, Pfeiffer regained the lead for good on back-to-back goals by Barna to open the decisive final period. Barna had a total of 4 goals on the day.
Garlow then netted the clinching goal after Greensboro had cut the Pfeiffer lead to one at 7-6. Garlow had 2 goals and an assist.
