Medina Colts, Stallions down Holley

The Medina Colts edged host Holley 13-0 Saturday in a Niagara Orleans Football Association Mini Division game.

Logan Gray had a touchdown and an extra point and Kaiden Hangartner a touchdown for the Colts.

Jack Nesbitt, Ty Holmes, Brady Christiaansen, Caiden Class, Ayden Johnson and Lukas Grimes all had fumble recoveries for the Colts and Mavrik Hall a sack. Liam Castricone made 7 tackles and Gray 4.

The Medina Stallions downed Holley 32-12 in a Varsity Division contest as Brian Fry completed touchdown passes of 22 yards to Tyler Chinn and 15 yards to Dae’Shawn Grace. Sydney Brown also had TD runs of 5 and 40 yards and Colby Petrie a 35 yard scoring run. Fry and Chinn also hooked up for a two-point conversion.

Fry had a total of 116 yards passing, Chinn 100 yards receiving and Brown 132 yards rushing.

Mario Fidanza had 11 tackles and a fumble recovery for the Stallions defense.

Holley’s touchdowns were scored by Jake Affronti and Mason Kuhn.
