Albion, Holley, Kendall, Lyndonville, Medina won’t open due to cold temperatures

All five public school districts in Orleans – Albion, Holley, Kendall, Lyndonville and Medina – have announced they won’t be open for school on Friday due to the very cold temperatures and wind chills at minus 20 degrees or lower.
In Medina, all extracurricular activities and athletics are still on for tonight, but extracurricular activities and athletics are cancelled on Friday.
Medina school officials said modified sports are also cancelled on Saturday but junior varsity and varsity athletics for Saturday will be coordinated by the coaches and athletic director.
