Medina cheerleaders take second at sectionals
Contributed Photo – The Medina Mustangs Varsity Cheerleading squad took second place in their division at the Section VI championships held at Buffalo State College on Sunday. Medina beat out Wilson, Akron, Cassadaga Valley, Randolph and Olmstead to bring home the second place plaque and patches. This is the first time since Competitive Cheerleading was officially named a sport (in 2015) that the Mustangs have taken a top three finish at sectionals. The Mustangs squad includes, from left, Devin Griffin, Destiny Jones, Alexis Jones, Veronika McClary, Natalie Cox (captain), Alexis Hare, Alexis Maron, Alexandria Strong, Gianna Greco, Alexis Hinman, Bobbiesue Fearby, Morgan Greco and Meadow Washak
