Medina, Barker/Roy-Hart matmen win NCCC Tournament titles
Medina’s Charles Beach (220) and Barker/Roy-Hart’s Cameron Swick (160) both captured individual weight class titles at the Officials Tournament held today at Niagara County Community College.
Going 4-0 for the tournament, Beach decisioned Mason Mastrenlo from Lancaster 7-5 in the championship bout. He decisioned Noah Siesto from Webster Schroeder 9-2 in the semifinals.
Swick decisioned Jacob Smeader from Hamburg 6-3 in his title bout.
Medina also had Joe Velez (126) place third as he decisioned Jacob Page from Eden 4-3 in the consolation finals.
Barker/Roy-Hart also had Brent Bachman place fourth.
