Medina and Barker netters post wins

Undefeated (5-0) defending champion Medina bested visiting Wilson 4 1/2-1 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League tennis match.

In another N-O match, Barker improved to 3-2 by downing Roy-Hart 3-2 1/2.

Medina swept the three singles matches in straight sets as Kristian Snyder defeated Dominic Curcione 6-1, 6-1; Tristan Sanders downed Gabe Curcione 6-2, 6-2 and Brian Bogan bested Alex Keil 6-1, 6-2.

The Mustangs also got wins at second doubles by Carson Zgoda and Xion Baes 6-3, 6-0 over Sean Pazik and Kyle Lyon and at third doubles by Tom Horgan and Nick Bogan 6-2, 7-6 over Kierson Skobjak and Marlowe Recht.

Wilson took the first doubles matches Joe Hecko and Kallie Olear out dueled Mike Cardone and Nick Dieter 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.

Brian Bogan makes a return at third singles for the Mustangs.

Barker was led by straight set wins by Tristan Payne at second singles and Brian Hefferon at third singles.

The Raiders also got a win from the second doubles team of Luz Bautista and Erik Herian.

Roy-Hart took the first singles on a win by Valeria Sillar.

The Rams also took the first doubles match by the duo of Quinn Moreland and Patrick Sheelar and the third doubles by the team of Jamie Swick and Tim Moriarity.
