Medina and Roy-Hart split in X-C opener
Medina and host Roy-Hart split in a season opening Niagara-Orleans League cross-country meet this afternoon.
Medina scored a narrow 27-28 win in the boys’ race led by the 3-4-5 finish of Ryder Jones, Riley Tompkins and Cole Hughes.
Josiah Rodriguez and Matt VanKeuren finished 1-2 for Roy-Hart.
Roy-Hart scored a 15-50 win in the girls race sparked by the 1-2-3-5 finish of Taylor Alvord, Julie Rohde, Marissa Bryant and Jillian Ossont.
Medina’s Talia Rupp placed 4th.
