Medina and Roy-Hart post N-O softball wins
Medina defeated Barker 22-7 at Vets Park and Roy-Hart scored a raining 13-2 win over host Albion in Niagara-Orleans League softball action this afternoon.
Trailing 5-3, Medina rallied into the lead for good by scoring 13 runs in the fourth inning highlighted by two doubles by Lacey Kenward and one by Cora Payne.
Paige Adkins and Brooklyn Brown both had triples on the day for Medina.
Medina is now 7-3 and Barker 1-7.
Maddie Fry, Mallory Steiner, Ashley Hill and Sam Choate each had two hits for Roy-hart which broke away from a close 3-2 game by scoring four times in the fourth inning.
Reanna Perkins earned the win in the circle allowing 1 hit with 2 strikeouts in five innings of work.
Roy-hart stays unbeaten at 9-0 and Albion slips to 1-7.
