Medina and Barker score shutout wins

Jumping out to commanding leads of 4-0 after the first quarter and 8-0 at the half, Medina went on to defeat Kenmore 12-0 in a Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game at Vets Park this morning.

Penelope Schalck scored two goals and Iyla Lilleby and Emiliana Batista each netted one in the first period.

Maggie Lonnen then tallied twice in the second period as Baileigh McAdoo and Lilleby each added one.

Lilleby, who finished with a total of five goals, added two in the third period and one in the fourth while Lonnen completed her three goal hat-trick with a third quarter tally.

Medina improves to 3-1 and Kenmore slips to 0-4.

Barker 3, Wilson 0
Madeline Pavlock scored two goals and Sophia Gerhardt one to lead Barker to a 3-0 win over Wilson which was playing its third game in as many days.

Barker is now 3-1 and Wilson 3-2.

Roy-Hart 2, Newfane 1

Adella Dukes scored both goals for Roy-Hart in the 2-1 win over Newfane as the Lady Rams snap a season opening for league game losing streak.
