Medina and Barker post field hockey wins

Medina boosted its Niagara-Orleans League field hockey record to 5-2 with 6-0 victory at Kenmore this evening.

Iyla Lileby scored 3 goals, Brooke Moden 2 and Emiliana Batista 1 to lead the Medina attack. Moden, Baileigh McAdoo and Penelope Schalck each had an assist.

Barker 6, Kenmore 0
Barker stayed unbeaten at 6-0 with a 6-0 win at Kenmore.

Mia Herman scored 3 goals for Barker as Lexi Weeks, Madeline Pavlock and Alexa Zglinicki each had one. Weeks and Anna Bowerman both had assists.

Akron 8, Roy-Hart 1

Akron likewise stayed unbeaten at 6-0 with an 8-1 win over Roy-Hart.

Julia Klodzinski and Nevada Bergman each scored a pair of goals for Akron as Lacey Berghorn, Marissa Brege, Olivia McClaine and Kayla Cebulski each added one.

Cheyenne Stilwell scored the Roy-Hart goal.

N-O Golf
Barker downed Wilson 242-275 in an N-O golf match this afternoon to improve to 6-4.

Barker’s Joel Harris took medalist honors with a 38 and Nathan Meyers led Wilson with a 39.

In another match front-running Akron defeated Medina 237-263.

Medina’s Dylan Lonnen took medalist honors with a 41 as Trace Hill led Akron with a 45.
