Medina and Albion golfers keep rolling
Medina and Albion remained 1-2 in the Niagara-Orleans League golf standings by posting victories this afternoon.
Defending champion Medina stayed unbeaten at 6-0 with s 209-262 win over Wilson (3-3) at Shelridge while Albion improved to 6-1 with a 238-253 victory over Newfane (0-6) at Willowbrook.
Melanie Green took medalist honors for Medina with a 36 as Ian Wagner had a 37, Aidan Paul 43, Trevor Luthart 45 and Dylan Lonnen 48.
Patrick Ricker took medalist honors for Albion with a 45 as Carson Bader added a 46 and Drew Caldwell a 47.
Sam Capen shot 46 and Zach Murray 47 for Newfane.
