Albion U15 girls tie with Churchville

Medina and Amherst battled to a scoreless tie this evening in the Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League boys U17 Division season finale at Vets Park.

Medina finishes the season at 2-6-2.

In a U19 season finale, Medina dropped a 3-0 decision at West Seneca.

Medina, which finishes the season at 4-4-2, had only eight players on hand for the contest.

Albion U15 ties
Maintaining a hold on first place, Albion settled for a 1-1 tie at runner-up Churchville this evening in a key Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U15 Division game.

Albion took a 1-0 lead in the second half on a goal by Kimmy Keeler but Churchville answered back with the equalizer with just four seconds to go.

Albion is now 7-2-2 (23 points) heading into next Tuesday’s season finale at home against third place Gananda (5-3-3) while second place Churchville is at 6-3-2 (20 points).
