Over 40 former players took part in Medina’s Red vs. Blue alumni soccer game Saturday night at Vets Park.

The Red team emerged with a narrow 3-2 victory as a goal by Dean Granchelli in the fourth quarter proved to be the game winner.

The Blue team grabbed an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Ryan Pritchard but the Red squad pulled even in the second quarter on a tally by Nick Schroeder.

A penalty kick goal by Cody Wagner in the third quarter put the Red up 2-1 and Granchelli’s tally in the fourth boosted the advantage to 3-1.

The Blue team though made the finish interesting as Casey Tuohey answered with a goal to make the final 3-2.
