Medina, Albion post youth football wins

The Medina Colts and Broncos and the Albion Mini Eagles all scored victories in Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) action Saturday.

Medina Colts 32, Attica Blue Devils  0
The Medina Colts blanked the visiting Attica Blue Devils 32-0 as Preston Woodworth passed for 2 touchdowns, one of 27 yards to Avion Johnson and the other of 8 yards to Stetson Hall. The Colts also got touchdown runs from Trey Shine  of 50 yards, Christian Moss of 65 yards and Kolton Fletcher of 35 yards.

For the defense, which did not give up any positive yards, Shine had 5 tackles, Moss 3 tackles, Fletcher 3 tackles and a forced fumble and Elijah Doxey. a forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries. Mackoy Hall and Avion Johnson each added a sack and 2 tackles each.

Medina Broncos 38, Attica Blue Devils  12
Julian Woodworth had 109 total yards with a touchdown, Amari Soule 130 yards with 3 touchdowns and Justin Pitts 108 yards rushing with a TD to lead the Broncos attack.

Defensively,  Kaedon Cleveland,  Brody Fry, Liam Castricone and Trenton Morley had 4 tackles each.  Brandon Christaansen, Xavier King and Trenton Morley  all had sacks and Cleveland a pick 6.

Albion Mini Eagles 42, Oakfield/Elba 0
A well balanced attack in the air and ground led the Albion Mini Eagles to a 42-0 victory over Oakfield/ Elba.

Great blocking up front by Joseph Johnson led to 5 touchdown runs by Noah Harrison of 54 and 70, Jayoanni Ostrander of 28 yards, Caidyn Wilson for 50 yards and Nate Gibson of 4 yards.  Gibson also had a 34 yard TD pass to Wesley Olles.

On defense, Harrison had 13 tackles as  Logan Kast, Olles and Gibson all had 8.  Harrison,  Kast and Gibson had fumble recoveries.

Albion JV lost 36-0 and Albion Varsity won by forfeit.
