Medina, Albion, Holley score boys soccer wins

A quick goal in the first two minutes ignited Medina to a 6-0 Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer win over Akron at Vets Park this evening.
Vinny Gray had the early goal to get Medina going. Tyler Kroening added 2 goals and Cole Callard 1 to boost the Mustangs advantage to 4-0 at thhe half. Gray also had a pair of assists on the evening.
Kroening completed his hat-trick with a second half goal and Callard found the net for the second time to round out the scoring.
Medina improves to 6-0-1 in N-O action heading into Friday’s key game against Wilson (5-0-1) at 4:45 p.m. at Vets Park.

Albion 3, Roy-Hart 0
Albion improved to 5-2 in N-O action with a 3-0 win over Roy-Hart as David Rosario had 2 goals and an assist, Matt Kania 1 goal and goalie Adrian Figueroa-Fuentes 2 assists and 5 saves.
Holley 3, Lyndonville 0
Holley downed visiting Lyndonville 3-0 in a Genesee Region League game to improve to 8-1-2 overall.
Chris Mosier scored all 3 goals for Holley with the final 2 coming in the last 6 minutes. Camden Mosier, Chris Kempa and Will Kruger each had an assist.
N-O Girls Soccer
Akron 8, Medina 0
Front-running Akron improved to 5-0-2 in N-O action with an 8-0 win over visiting Medina.
Brooke Warren scored 2 goals as Aleyna Susfolk, Sahpur Guijalva, Gracie Leiker, Maddie Hillman, Olivia Novak and Cora Swader each netted 1.
Wilson 2, Newfane 0
Wilson downed rival Newfane 2-0 to improve to 3-1-2 in N-O action.
