Medina, Albion golfers post N-O wins
Medina defeated Newfane 217-304 at Oak Run and Albion bested Barker 229-281 at Niagara-Orleans Country Club in Niagara-Orleans League golf competition this afternoon.
Ian Wagner took medalist honors with a 32 for Medina as Aidan Paul added a 42, Trevor Luthart 43 and Andrew Fuller 47.
The Mustangs stay perfect a 8-0 while Newfane slips to 1-6-1.
Albion improved to 6-1 as Nick Penna shot 42, Patrick Ricker 43, Victor Benjovsky 44 and Nick Pery 44.
Barker’s Jake Harris earned medalist honors with a 40.
In the other much Wilson and Akron split a pair of points.
Wilson’s Nate Fox and Akron’s Brennan Murty shared medalist honors with rounds of 41.
