Medina 2 booters score two wins
Front-running Medina 2 scored a pair of victories over the weekend in the Senior Division of the Kenan Indoor Soccer League.
Improving to 6-1, Medina 2 defeated Zimmi’s Auto Service 9-4 and Reid’s Drive-In 10-2.
Brian Anderson and Anthony Pane each had three goals for Medina 2 in the win over Zimmi’s as Max Owens added two and Aaron Feltz one.
For Zimmi’s, Roy-Hart’s Lyle Wagner had three goals and Medina’s Hayden Allis one.
In the Medina 2 win over Reid’s, Anderson and Pane again each netted three goals. Owens added two and Collin Dunn and Zach Laird one each.
The Medina 1 team drew the bye for the weekend.
In the Junior Division, Medina lost 8-2 to M.P. Construction.
Matt Hess and Elian Gonzalez each scored a goal for Medina which slips to 2-4.
