Medina 14U stickmen rally to tie

A goal in the final seconds earned Medina’s 14U team an 11-11 tie at Lancaster last Thursday in a Western New York Summer Lacrosse League game.

Michael Carson scored the equalizer for Medina with just 10 seconds to play.

Kaleb Uptegrove scored six goals to lead the Medina attack. Carson and Brendan Luthart each added two goals and Maxim Poler one.

Medina’s 10U team lost to Niagara-Wheatfield.

Medina’s 14U team next visits North Tonawanda at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday while the 10U team hosts Lancaster at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.  Also on Tuesday, Medina’s 12U team visits Sweet Home at 7:30 p.m. while the 16U team travels to Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
