Medina 12U Fillies down Grand Island
The Medina 12U Fillies posted a 14-8 victory over Grand Island over the weekend.
Lacey Kenward had a bases clearing triple and Camri King a double and single to lead the Fillies attack. Grace Cook, Micaela Irway, Tessa Boyce and Brooklyn Brown also each chipped in with singles.
In the circle, Lexi Hare pitched three innings and struck out three. Boyce pitched the fourth inning and was solid defensively up the middle with two putouts.
Faith Vanderwalker also had a big putout in left field to help highlight the Fillies defense.
