Medina grad earns honor at Pfeiffer

Medina High graduate Kyle Barna has been named Pfeiffer University’s Male Athlete of the Week.
In two lacrosse games last week, Barna had a total of nine goals, tallied four ground balls. On Wednesday at Catawba, the sophomore mid-fielder scored five times and picked up three ground balls and on Saturday in the 9-8 win against Brevard he added four more goals.
Barna, who is a Sports Management major, scored 181 goals during his scholastic career at Medina.
