Many Raptors will be playing college soccer

Fresh from capturing a Rochester Youth Soccer League girls U19 Division championship no less than a dozen Holley Raptors players will next be playing college soccer this fall.

Those players, who helped the Raptors post a 9-1 U19 title season, will be playing at nine different colleges.

Claire Squicciarini and Abby Scanlan will be playing at Alfred University, Aly Knaak and Lily Miller at Alfred State, Julie Coble and Carly Burgess at Genesee Community College, Nikki Creasey at Buffalo State College, Sydney Mulka at Penn St. Harrisburg, Halee Passarell at Finger Lakes Community College, Kiera Wlson at Francisan College, Ella Fadale at Gannon and Maija Young at Monroe Community College.

Interestingly, Squicciarini and Scanlan will be facing Knaak and Miller early in the upcoming season when Alfred University hosts Alfred State, Creasey’s Buffalo State. team will also face Alfred State. Coble and Burgess will also see Young and Passarell as GCC’s schedule includes both FLCC and MCC.
