M-L United U17 romps to 6-0 soccer win

Staying perfect at 5-0, Medina-Lyndonville United U17 blanked host South Buffalo 6-0 Wednesday evening in a Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League game.

M-L United built up a commanding 4-0 half-time advantage. Nate Dillenbeck scored the first three goals and Sam Kingsbury followed up with the first of his two tallies.

M-L United capped off the win on second half goals by Kingsbury and Casey Winiecki.

Jacob Corser, Roman Heinsler and Jon Slingerland all chipped in with assists.

Aidan Owczarczak earned the shutout in goal as Jack Whipple, Evan Horn and Alex Barry anchored the defense.

Girls Soccer U15
Breaking away from a 0-0 halftime deadlock, host Attica went on to down Albion 2-0 in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League U15 Division game.

Albion is now 5-4-1.

Girls Soccer U18
Jumping out to a 2-0 first half lead, host Livonia went on to defeat visiting Kendall 5-0 in a RDYSL U18 Division game.

Kendall next hosts division leading Penfield at 6:30 this evening.

In another U18 contest, host Wayne blanked Medina/Lyndonville 5-0 on Tuesday.
