M-L United U17 booters win season finale
Closing out the season on a high note, the Medina-Lyndonville United team defeated Cheektowaga 3-1 this past week in a Buffalo and Western New York Junior Soccer League U17 Division contest.
Going 4-1-1 over the last six games, United finishes the season in third place at 4-5-1.
United got on the board early when Chase Woodward scored at the 3 minute mark with the assist coming from Nate Dillenbeck.
Dillenbeck made the game 2-0 when he score a penalty kick at the 30 minute mark. He then made it 3-0 as he found he net again at the 35 minute mark with the assist coming from Kody Leno.
Cheektowaga score their lone goal at the 78min on a penalty kick.
