M-L United U12 and U15 squads post shutouts as does Medina/Roy-Hart U14 girls team

The Medina-Lyndonville United U12 and U15 boys teams both scored shutout victories over Tonawanda on Monday evening in Buffalo and Western New York Jr. Soccer League action.

In notching a 6-0 victory to improve to 6-3, the M-L United U12 offense was spearheaded by Cole Callard with 2 goals and 2 assists. Caden Kingsbury added a goal and 2 assists as Camerone Kenward, Vinny Gray and Ethan Page each chipped in with a goal.

Page also had a big game in goal to help United register the shutout.

The M-L United U15 squad evened its record at 2-2 with a 3-0 victory.

Finding the net for M-L were Bryson Costich, who scored off an assist from Sam Kingsbury, Jackson Moreland, who tallied on a penalty kick, and Daric Boyce who scored off a corner kick by Jack Whipple.

Moreland and Kevin Travis shared in earning the shutout in goal.

Improving to 2-1-2, the Medina/Roy-Hart U14 team blanked visiting Holland 3-0.

Leading 1-0 in the first half on a goal by Ada Noble, Medina/Roy-Hart pulled away in the second half n goals by Grace Trombley and Taylor Bull.

Savannah Hold earned the shutout in goal.
