M-L U14 Soccer Club rallies to tie
Coming back from a one goal deficit, the Medina – Lyndonville United U14 Soccer Club tied Delaware City 1-1 this week after Jack Whipple lofted a long ball from mid field to the foot of Sam Kingsbury for the score.
Zaric Boyce, Even Gerdes and Wyatt Zelany worked hard to try and pull away from Delaware’s defensive effort.
Kevin Travis and Aidan Owczarczak played strong at goal tempering all but one of their opponents shots.
M-L United U12 Soccer Club
The Medina-Lyndonville United U12 Soccer team lost a close game to the Clarence Inferno 5-4.
After an early goal by Clarence, United answered back with Julian Woodworth finding the back of the net assisted by Cole Callard.
Second half action, saw Woodworth score his second assisted by Vinny Gray. Callard was able to enter into the scoring books aided by Jack Cecchini. Gray scored his first of the season with help from Callard.
