M-L United U12 and U14 booters bow

Amherst Avalanche 7, Medina-Lyndonville United U12 1
The Medina- Lyndonville United U12 Soccer Club lost to the Amherst Avalanche 7-1 this week.

M-L United held onto a 1-1 deadlock late into the first half after Colton Smith and Cole Callard assisted Caden Kingsbury’s lone goal.

The Avalanche proved their name correct as the  United were barraged by 4 unanswered goals.

A second half adjustment with support from Liam Castricone and Cameron Kenward limited Amherst to just two goals for the remainder of the game.

Aurora Arsenal 2, Medina-Lyndonville United U14 1
With seconds remaining the Aurora Arsenal managed a game winning goal to edge past the Medina-Lyndonville United U14 Soccer Club 2-1.

Mason Nicholson crossed a beautiful pass to Mason Moreland who pushed the ball to the back of the net for United’s only goal.

Kevin Travis registered a first half shut-out at goal with defensive support from Bryson Costich and strong mid field play from Zaric Boyce.
