Lyndonville/Medina spikers bow twice

Lyndonville/Medina lost 25-20, 25-15, 25-13 to Pavilion and 20-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-19 to Wayne in boys volleyball action today at Lyndonville.

Mason Pecoraro had 3 kills and 3 aces, Christian Hahn 5 kills and 4 blocks and Chris Goyette 2 aces and 2 kills for Lyndonville/Medina against Pavilion.

Pecoraro then had 4 kills and 2 aces, Hahn 3 kills and Steven Kage 3 aces and 2 kills against Wayne.

Medina competes in NYT tourney
The Medina girls volleyball squad competed in the North Tonawanda Tournament as Je’ne Brown had 25 kills on the day, Maddie Williams 20 kills, Elle Gross 5 aces, Faith Henning 5 aces, Camri King 5 kills, Grace Masse 7 kills and 25 assists and Alyssa Beyer 21 digs.

In the round-robin portion of the tourney, Medina split with Maryvale and Starpoint and lost to Kenmore West.  The Mustangs then lost to Amherst 30-26 in the semifinals of the Bronze Division.
