Lyndonville wrestlers rally to nip Alexander; Medina tops Roy-Hart and Akron

Lyndonville rallied to take the final four bouts and nip host Alexander 36-34 in a Genesee Region League wrestling match this evening.
Trailing 34-18, the Tigers rallied to claim the win on a decision win by Payton Grabowski at 180, a forfeit win at 215, a pin by Sam Doolan at 285 and finally a match deciding 5-2 decision win by Christian Garver at 102.
The Tigers also got pins on the evening from both Sebastian Temich (152) and Alex Farrell at 138 who rebounded from a 5-1 deficit to earn the win.
In a Niagara-Orleans League make-up tri-match, Medina defeated Roy-Hart 42-26 and host Akron 48-21 to finish the dual match portion of the league season at 3-2.
Dominick Callara, Gavin Ciarfella, Rashon Bloom, Noah Skinner and Gabe Casanova all registered pins for Medina against Roy-Hart as Brody Fry and Liam Castricone both had decision wins.
Callara, Ciarfella, Bloom and Skinner also all notched pins for the Mustangs in the victory over Akron.
