Lyndonville wrestlers have two top seeds

Two Lyndonville wrestlers have earned top seeds for the Section V Class B3 wrestling tournament which will be held Saturday at Bolivar-Richburg.

Rodney Davis is seeded No. 1 at 171 and Mario Fidanza No. 1 at 220 for the Tigers which also have Connor Bell seeded No. 2 at 113.

Holley-Kendall has a trio of wrestlers earning top four seeds for the Section V Class B2 tournament which will be held Saturday at Warsaw.

Bruce Rasmusson is seeded No. 3 at 99 for the Hawks as Tristyn Moyer at 126 and Jayden Pieniaszek at 138 are both No. 4 seeds.

The top six finishers in each weight class will advance to next weekend’s Section V state qualifier tournament.

Basketball games rescheduled
Snowed out today the Notre Dame at Kendall boys basketball game as been rescheduled for Monday and the Akron at Medina girls basketball contest has been rescheduled for next Wednesday.

The Lyndonville at Wheatland-Chili and Holley vs. Pembroke boys basketball games were also postponed but no rescheduled dates have been set.

Girls Swimming
The Niagara-Orleans League vs. Genesee Region League girls swim meet was also postponed and has been rescheduled for Monday at Gates-Chili.
