Lyndonville wrestlers down Albion

Closing out the regular season on a high note, Lyndonville defeated visiting Albion 48-20 in a non league wrestling match this evening.
Ty Holmes (126), Alex Farrell (138), Sebastian Temich (160), Patrick Hargrave (172) and Payton Grabowski (189) all register pins for Lyndonville which also earned 8 points on three forfeit wins. Grabowski, Hargrave and Farrell all scored first period pins while Holmes and Temisch had second period falls.
Kaiden Froman (145) and Mason Lynch (215) both notched pins for Albion which also got major decision wins by Bryden McMurray (132) and Josh Bovenzi (152). Froman’s pin was in the first period and Lynch’s in the second.
Lyndonville will next host the Section V Class B3 tournament and Albion will compete in the Section VI Class B tournament at CSAT both on Saturday.
