Lyndonville woman turning 100 credits great husband for long and happy life
LYNDONVILLE – A Lyndonville woman will turn 100 on Friday.
Mildred Bane has lived a full life. She was born in Lyndonville and married for 63 years to her husband, Paul.
“Millie” is the mother of three children. She worked for the Postal Service, as a clerk for the Town of Yates and in the BOCES library.
After retirement she stayed busy as a volunteer. She is now a resident of The Villages of Orleans in Albion. Staff there are looking forward to her 100th birthday on April 21.
Millie said the secret to living a long happy life is “having a great husband.”
