Brockport police investigating possible murder of Lyndonville woman

BROCKPORT – A Lyndonville woman was found dead in a parking lot on South Avenue on Friday night, not far from where she worked at Lowe’s, WHEC in Rochester is reporting.
Megan Dix, 33, had left Lowe’s at about 1 p.m. for a lunch break and did not return. She was discovered in a pickup truck she had driven. Dix died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
Brockport Police do not have any suspects in custody, WHEC is reporting. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation. Law enforcement is asking anyone with any information to contact them by calling 911 or the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office at 585-753-4178.
Dix and her husband, Chris, have a son, CJ.
