Huge inning sparks Holley/Kendall to victory

Two hits proved to be just enough to earn Lyndonville a 5-0 victory over visiting C.G. Finney this afternoon in a non league baseball game.

Those two hits, a two-run single by Eric Neace and a two-run homer by Eddie Schildt, both came in the first inning and provided all the offense the Tigers needed as it turned out.

Michael Wells went the distance on the mound for Lyndonville scattering 4 hits and striking out 8.

Now at 10-3 overall, Lyndonville next hosts Alexander at 4:30 p.m. Friday in a Genesee Region League game.

Holley/Kendall 17, Northstar 5
A marathon 11 run fifth inning scoring burst put a lock on Holley/Kendall’s 17-5 non league win over host Northstar.

Dylan Hillabush finished with a total of 4 hits, including a double, for the Hawks as Spellan and Passarell both had 3 base raps.

Now at 9-4 overall, the Hawks next host Elba/Byron-Bergen in a G-R contest at 4:30- p.m. Friday.
