Lyndonville tops Kendall in G-R softball

A big eight run third inning scoring burst keyed Lyndonville to a 16-1 win over visiting Lyndonville in a Genesee Region League softball game this afternoon.
Winning pitcher Haley Shaffer banged out a three-run triple to key that uprising. In the circle, she allowed 2 hits and struck out 6.
Lorelei Dillenbeck had 4 hits, including a double, Alexa Robinson 2, including a double, and Addison Dillenbeck 2 for the Lady Tigers.
In another G-R contest, Oakfield-Alabama used a 10 run second inning to key a 15-0 win over Holley.
Kendall’s Ella Christ is tagged out going to third by Lyndonville’s Brianna Krisher.
Roy-Hart 10, Medina 3
Erupting for 7 quick runs in the first inning, Roy-Hart went on to down visiting Medina 10-3 in a Niagara-Orleans League game.
Abby Fox had a triple, Maria Peracciny and Hayley Hillburn doubles and Emily Scott and Adella Dukes singles during the decisive inning for the Lady Rams.
Alayna Smith and Lilah Class both had doubles and Samantha Heschke a pair of hits for Medina.
In the other N-O contests, Wilson downed Albion 15-1 and Akron bested Newfane 14-6.
N-O Tennis
In N-O tennis matches this afternoon, Barker downed Roy-Hart 5-1/2, Akron topped Newfane 4-1 and Wilson defeated Medina 5 1/2-0.
Matt Ryan, Levi Hauser and Daniel Goodwin scored singles win to lead the way for Barker.
