Lyndonville tops Holley in G-R softball

Three big scoring innings powered Lyndonville to a 21-3 victory over host Holley this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.

Improving to 7-1, Lyndonville erupted for 6 runs in the second inning, 8 in the fourth and 7 in the fifth.

Gracie Johnson and Chloe Stinson both had 3 hits and Anna Lewis and Stacy Buckland 2 each to lead the offense for Lyndonville. Lewis’ hits included a triple while Buckland and Stinson both banged out doubles. Stinson drove in a total of 4 runs, Johnson 3 and Lewis 2.

Johnson and Buckland shared in earning the win in the circle combining for a 3 hitter with 2 strikeouts.

Attica 12, Kendall 3
Ashley Kingsbury had 2 hits and Adriana Passarell and Kierstyn Christensen 1 each for Kendall in the 12-3 G-R loss to Attica.

Holley’s Madison Papaj puts the ball in play. Miranda Lembcke is the Lyndonville catcher.
