Lyndonville tops Albion in U16 contest
A pair of five run innings keyed Lyndonville to a 16-6 win over Albion today in a Batavia U16 League baseball game.
A three-run triple by Kane Flynn highlighted a 5 run third inning. Singles by Chase Stinson and Oscar Heinsler then keyed a 5 run seventh frame.
Flynn, Roman Heinsler and Oscar Heinsler each finished with 2 hits.
Albion scored 4 times in the fifth inning on singles by Ryan Krenning, Mike Harling and Drew Caldwell along with 4 walks and a sacrifice by Bryce Kelly.
The two teams are slated to meet again Sunday in a make-up contest.
