Completing a home-and-home season series sweep, Lyndonville romped past host Webster Christian 16-4 this afternoon in a non league baseball game.

Michael Wells picked up the win on the mound for Lyndonville which also scored a similar 17-4 home field victory over Webster Christian on Saturday. He allowed only 2 hits and struck out 9 in six innings of work on the mound.

Wells also helped himself at the plate by banging out a three-run triple to highlight a five-run first inning uprising which also included an RBI single by Chris Scroger.

Scroger, James Ianni and Jacob Hoffee each had a total of 3 hits and AJ Buckland 2.

Now at 7-2 overall, Lyndonville next visits Attica on Wednesday in a Genesee-Region League game.
